Join a Servant Team at the Cross Training Center
and volunteer your time and talents to help people change their lives.
There are so many ways to serve and help others grow. Schedule yourself based on your availability. Lets talk about how you can be a part of a growing team of wonderful volunteers. Here are just a few ways to help. . .
Collection Events
Arrange a collection event at your office, church, school or neighborhood to collect items that we need. This could be a food collection, paper product collection or electronic collection. This is a fun and easy way to make a big difference.
Fund Raising Team
Help us raise funds in various ways. This team plans events, helps with marketing literature, coordinates activities with groups and so much more.
Marketing and Social Networking Team
Do you enjoy face booking, blogging and keeping people up to date - we could use your help on this team. Video production, photography, web design, marketing pieces and more.
Church Ambassadors
Help keep us connected with your church. Help your church become active in the community - serving the poor and those who are incarcerated or homeless or participating in outreach projects.
Information Technology Team
We have both long and short term projects that need to be accomplished. Various skill levels are needed including programming.
Student Services Team
Join our students as they learn auto mechanics, computer refurbishing; and other trades or help them with physical fitness, mentoring or counseling.
Cooking and Food Service for Fund Raising Events
Plan, prepare and serve meals as part of our fund raising events.
Teachers & Trainers Team
What topic can you teach? Basic Computer skills, Budgeting, Inter-relational skills, Parenting, Resume Writing, Home Ownership and Bible Studies and more are needed. Must be available during day time hours.
Outreach Team
Join a current outreach team or help lead a new group to reach our community through love and service. Prepare food and supplies for distribution to those we serve.
Administration
Oversee students who are learning data entry and basic office skills. Help them learn while making the wheels turn behind the scenes. Also we are looking for an administrative assistant for the Director.
